Biltmore United Methodist Church Alter

Bishop Paul Leeland communicated with our entire Western NC Conference recommending all churches suspend public worship for the next two Sundays. These measures are being suggested at the recommendation of health officials with the hope that we might help slow the rate of infection of the COVID-19 virus. While it is always disappointing to cancel worship services and other church activities, Biltmore UMC recognizes the need to adhere to this recommendation. We hope and believe that by following this recommendation we are doing our part to keep people well – not just us, but neighbors everywhere. This means all Sunday activities (both worship services and Sunday School) are canceled for the next two weeks (March 15th and 22nd). We are encouraging our church family to worship from home with us this Sunday at 11am on Facebook Live. facebook.com/BiltmoreUMC A link to the service will be uploaded to our website for those who do not have Facebook to watch at their convenience.

➡️ Jesus promises us that we will never be left alone, even and especially in the chaotic circumstances of life. As the Church, we can be the tie that binds us together. Let us reach out to our neighbors in need to remind them of God’s love that can and will surpass this health scare. Continue to check Facebook and your enews for details on how we can creatively come together as a community in a time of “social distancing.”
