End Racism

Consider joining Biltmore UMC and The United Methodist Church in courageous conversations and calls of action to end personal and systemic racism.

Daily Prayer

The sin of racism continues to be seen and felt on both individual and systemic levels. Dismantling racism is not a short-term task but a lifelong moving forward to perfection in love—to use founder of the Methodist movement, John Wesley’s words. We invite you to join us in ongoing prayer. Click here to subscribe to a daily prayer for change.

Activists & Advocates at Biltmore UMC

The work to end racism includes activists and advocates. Sometimes action looks like participating in marches. Sometimes action looks like courageous conversation, education, and personal reflection. At Biltmore UMC, we have engaged in community events and created space for connection and conversation. Creating space has included book studies, seeing movies together, and joint discussions with our siblings at Rock Hill MBC.
