Ray Funeral and Biltmore UMC

New Worship Place & Time! In an effort to be good stewards of the resources the Lord has provided us, we decided to sell our property. We thought we could do more for God’s Kingdom by investing in the community instead of investing in an aging building. This means we’ve moved worship to a new temporary location while we discern where God is leading us next. Biltmore United Methodist Church has moved from our previous location on Hendersonville Road. Our new temporary home for worship is Ray’s Chapel at Ray Funeral and Cremation Services. Sunday school starts at 9am and the worship service begins at 10:15am. Worship services are also live streamed on Facebook. Sometimes immediately following worship the congregation will gather for meetings or to head out together into the community for various ministry projects.

Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church

We also worship with our siblings at Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Biltmore United Methodist Church and Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church got together for a meet and greet potluck in February 2018 and have been partners in ministry and worship ever since. Our congregations currently gather together approximately once a month for a joint worship service (usually the 3rd Sunday of the month at 11am). We take turns hosting worship, so if you ever can’t find us at Ray’s Chapel, we’re probably at Rock Hill MBC. Rock Hill has a number of ministry efforts in the Shiloh community of Asheville. Let us know if you’d like to learn more about how you can help with Rock Hill’s weekly food distribution days or their summer & after-school program, Project Lighten Up.
